Remove an Offering Category

1. Go to the treasurer portal for your church.
2. Click on Offering Categories
3. Find the category you want to delete or inactivate:
   1. To delete, click on the trash can if it is available to delete a category. When the trash can is not available it is because you have already received donations under this category, and you cannot delete it. You can, however, inactivate it.
   2. To inactivate, click on the checkbox in the Active column so it is white. This inactivates the category and members will not be able to see it.
   3. Click on Save Changes to save.

Why can't I delete this offering category?

If someone has donated to a category, you can't delete it. It must remain for record keeping. You can choose to inactivate it so that it's not visible or available for donations.
